Museum of Bricks

We have a special children’s corner in the museum premises – special in the sense that it is intended for visitors of all ages, as we believe that everyone will enjoy building with Lego.

If you would like to continue building after opening hours, visit our well-equipped store, where you will find the latest LEGO® building kits, limited sets and exclusive LEGO® products that are hard to find in the Czech Republic.

The store is also a paradise for minifigure collectors and spare parts seekers. The Prague store also offers selected historical sets for avid collectors or Lego investors.

The Prague Museum is the largest of the five in terms of area and number of exhibits. It boasts the lead among Czech and world museums of its kind.

Some numbers to give you an idea – on an area of ​​420 m2 there are 20 thematic exhibitions containing a total of 3,000 unique models , which are made up of more than 1,000,000 bricks .

The Prague branch offers visitors unique models of Prague landmarks such as Charles Bridge, the National Museum, the Old Town Astronomical Clock or the National Theatre.
There are also, for example, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the dominant feature of Red Square and a symbol of Moscow, the Italian Trevi Fountain or the Mole, a laughing, mute fictional character created by artist Zdeněk Miler and a folk symbol of Czech identity.

There are also exhibitions dedicated to knightly duels, machines, Star Wars, Harry Potter and many other rare sets. Visitors will also learn more about the history and development of the LEGO® brand and lots of interesting facts. For example, did you know that LEGO used to be made of wood?
